Professional Experience

Mr. Detter has had an extensive background in corporate accounting and finance.  He spent five years as an accountant for two separate distribution companies in Baltimore, Maryland with multiple responsibilities including financial reporting, budgeting, supervision of receivables and payables, operational reporting and financial analysis.

For six years Mr. Detter worked for a manufacturer/wholesaler and retailer of table top battle games and toy soldiers.  It was there that he transitioned from controller of the retail division to director of the retail store expansion program.  Mr. Detter was responsible for all aspects of the roll out of the new stores, including site selection, proposal negotiation, lease negotiation, design, construction and store set-up.  He opened stores nationally in the top 15 markets in regional malls, shopping centers and a few store fronts, as well as handling the renewal and disposition of existing stores.

Mr. Detter relocated to Northeastern Pennsylvania and began working with Hinerfeld Commercial Real Estate in 2004.  He has since sold and leased numerous commercial properties, including the sale of a 47,000 square foot office building on Highland Park Boulevard across from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre Township for $3.25 million and the leasing of 33,000 square feet of Class A office space at Glenmaura Plaza to The Paper Magic Group.

In 2007 Mr. Detter transitioned to specialize in the sale and leasing of Office Properties.  Some of the tenants he has placed include: State Farm Auto Insurance Company, Humana Inc., Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, Wachovia Securities, New York Life Insurance Company, Kelly Services, Physicians Health Alliance, Valley Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, TMS Health, Connections Academy, Tetra Tech Inc, and NET Federal Credit Union.
